Get in touch
Call (408) 972-9200 or email littletree@newcreationchurch-sj.org. Tell us your child's age and the days you need. Ms. Ramona or another staff member will talk with you about the programs that fit and what comes next. You can also set up a time to visit the classroom in San Jose.

Tour the room
Come see the classroom your child would join. You will meet the teachers who run it and watch the room in the middle of a day. Bring your questions about the schedule and how the mixed-age group works.

Enroll and settle in
Complete the enrollment forms and the registration packet with the $100 registration fee, which holds your child's spot for up to 30 days. We plan a first week that suits your child's routine. You will know who greets your child at the door.
What to have ready
Most families have a few papers ready before the first day. Enrollment forms cover your child's basics, and you will also need a health form and an up-to-date immunization record. Add emergency contacts and the names of anyone allowed to pick your child up, so the list at the door is right.
Pack a full change of clothes in a labelled bag, since spills and puddles happen. Add outdoor gear for the season, nap items if your child rests, and one small comfort object from home. Write your child's name on everything that comes in.
Before the first day, sort out the drop-off routine and who will do it. Decide who picks up and make sure they are on the authorized list. Think about how you want to hear about the day, then tell your child's teacher.
The first weeks
The first days often run shorter, then lengthen as your child gets used to the room. A familiar object from home helps. A teacher greets your child by name at the door, so the morning starts with a face they know.
At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, rested, and played, and who they spent time with. Ask about anything you noticed that morning. Most children settle within a couple of weeks, and some take longer.

What does a typical day include?
Days run from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Children move through play, exploration, and social emotional learning in one large mixed-age classroom. Meals and rest fit around that play, and sunscreen is reapplied as needed for outdoor time. Pickup happens by 5:00pm.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Parents hear about the day at pickup, when teachers share what happened. You can also ask Ms. Ramona or your child's teacher directly. The best way to stay informed is to talk with us at drop-off or pickup.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have. Ask us what is available for your child.
What if there is no place right now?
You can ask us to let you know when a place opens for your child's age. We will keep your information and contact you if something becomes available.
What should I ask on the tour?
